Leeds wedding Photographer - John Nelson
Leeds wedding photography - Leeds is on the verge of something great! Leeds United Football Club could be on their way back to the Premiership (maybe). Leeds now have a Michelin star at The Man Behind The Curtain restaurant with the incredible chef Michael O’Hare, also Chanel 4 are now moving their head quarters there very soon! Yorkshire and Leeds are very much on the verge of something special (we know they are already!)
So I consider myself incredibly fortunate to cover such an amazing area, I’m based half way between Manchester and Leeds in the thriving town of Sowerby Bridge (pronounced Sawbee)
I photographed a wedding early on in the summer at Elland cricket club, it ended being one of the best documentary weddings I’ve ever photographed. A venue or location doesn’t make a wedding special, it’s the people. The bride and groom, aunties, uncles, children, friends…and the random people that just happen to tag along. Town folk, normal everyday people with soul and character celebrating, that’s what I love to photograph, and this wedding on the outskirts of Leeds was just that. It was my perfect wedding!
Thank you Charlotte & Andrew for letting me be part of your fantastic day.
